Dr. Wyatt Smith
Dr. Wyatt Smith joined the staff in the fall of 2023, serving as the Music Director & Organist. In 2025, his role expanded to include that of Communications Coordinator.
Wyatt brings a strong background in leading the people’s song in the Anglican tradition. He guides the Chancel Choir, Evensong Choir, and Choristers in their leadership of the musical life of St. Luke’s. He greatly enjoys bringing people together to make music in community!
Wyatt holds degrees in organ performance from the University of South Dakota (BM), Yale University (MM), and the University of Washington (DMA). In addition to his work at St. Luke’s, Wyatt enjoys teaching and performing regularly at the University of Puget Sound, where he has served on the faculty since 2018.
When not at the organ console, Wyatt enjoys cooking, baking bread, and listening to podcasts covering a myriad of topics, among other adventures.
